SYENMAINT @ RAILS (Roadmaps for AI integration in the raiL Sector) as a member of the Advisory Board.
This European research project was promoted by: CINI (IT), University of Leeds (UK), Linnaeus University (LNU), Delft University of Technology (NL), within the H2020 Shift2Rail JU program.
RAILS will study the potential of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) approaches in the railway sector and will produce knowledge, innovative research and experimental proofs of concepts for the adoption of A.I. in railway automation, predictive maintenance, defect detection, traffic management.
For this purpose, RAILS will combine the paradigms of A.I. with the Internet of Things, in order to exploit the large amount of data generated by intelligent sensors and applications.
SYENMAINT will contribute to the project through its consolidated skills and experience gained in the field of predictive maintenance, in order to constitute a facilitating element for the application of artificial intelligence in the railway sector.
